broad street

on sunday mer and i ran the philly broad street 10 miler. it was pretty much amazing. we made it to mile 7 before the need to walk a bit (.5 mile), and then made it past the 8 mile marker before we decided to walk to mile 9 and finish strong running to mile 10. we finished in 2hrs and 2min. what an incredible feeling it was looking down broad street at thousands of people in front of us... and then glancing behind and seeing thousands running after us. i had a blast running with meredith, she is an awesome encouragement to me, even pushing us to sprint out the last 100yrds.
