not so small

ok... so it doesnt look like it, but our little one isnt so little. owen had his 8wk checkup... and 4 shots to go with it, last friday. he weighed in at a whopping 14lbs 3oz.... he's a formula fatty! for those of you who dont realize, that's off the charts for his age. he's also 24inches long... 95th percentile for his age. it scares me to think about how much he might weigh in another month. on a more interesting note... owen is becoming more and more un-blob-like (aka. blob-like = eat, sleep, and poop only). there are rewards now - a big smile when i look into his eyes, laughing at brians funny faces, batting a bit at objects (ok, so i put the toy near his moving hand). all in all... i think i'm taking to motherhood...

He is soo precious!!!!!! They grow like weeds! All babies have such cute personalities that start to blossom at that time!! YAY for Owen! hehe!
